Venus transit of 06/06/2012
It was to be a historic event, the last transition of Venus across the Sun before the year 2125.
Even though the weather forecast had predicted clouds and rain, we were prepared. Equiped with special glasses, telescopes and a self-made Sun projector, we patiently awaited the great moment.
After half an hour of anxious waiting, the sky finally opened, and for three minutes, we became witnesses of the spectacular Venus transit 2012.
